E9th Rock Lick

I've divided the above lick into groups of four moves. Notice how each of the first 5 are forward rolls with a pedal move off of one of the fingers. This is played fast like a metal rocker. A forward roll starts on the thumb, then the first finger, and then the second finger in succesion.

Slow way down and learn the exact moves first. A good way to learn the above lick is to play each of the forward rolls in their grip and hand position and then add the pedals once you've mastered the right hand.

After you've mastered the move you need to learn to play it with an attitude. This lick can be played on the E9/B6 tuning easily because I avoided the 9th string.
